Functions and tasks:

To assess environmental pollution.

To conduct research on biomonitoring and phytoremediation of environmental pollution.

 

Activities:

Implemented 10 research projects at institutional level and 2 projects at Ministerial level.

Participated in CIP Projects of Environmental Pollution of Starch Processing Ha Tay Villages 1998-2000, and in Vietnam-France Joining Research Program “Quality and Treatment of Nhue-Tolich river system” 2001-2004.

Research on heavy metal tolerance and accumulations in plants.

Carry out phytomonitoring and phytoremediation of toxic heavy metal pollution in soils..

Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Research, Chinese academy of Science, University of Bordeaux, France.
